Sports Seats for my 1988 BMW 325 (e30)

<< Back to 325

November 2008. Odometer 276000km. The "i" model e30s mostly come with Recaro sports seats. My "non-i" 325 came with regular seats that were badly worn. I looked everywhere for 4-door brown leather sports seats, and finally found a great set at Zionsville Autosport.

The Components

Project Total: $1100.00

The Result

The new seats look fantastic, and they really hold you in place on corners. Of course, a real racing seat would do a better job of supporting your body, but the BMW sports seats look nice, and I'm trying to keep the car looking original. This is a great upgrade over regular seats. It keeps your whole body in control during performance driving. (You can find a much cheaper set if you only want fronts, and aren't too picky about quality. I've seen sports seats sell for as little as $300 on maxbimmer.)
