- a directory/portal style site listing type foundries and all kinds of type info on the web.
- typofile magazine
- a font/type zine maintained by will harris, editor of o'reilly's webfonts.com. good article on fonts on the web and the 4.0 browsers.
- cool archive
- about 1000 free fonts. on-screen preview images included. not super high quality but you may find something suitable.

- a collection of free pixel-based and techno fonts. very nice stuff.
- miniml.com
- a collection of custom-made tiny pixel-fonts designed specifically for use with flash (and people with exceptional vision). free to download and use. very slick.
- atomic media pixel fonts
- atomic media creates pixel-based fonts especially for use with handhelds, flash, and other devices that need small, legible point sizes without antialiasing.
- fonts for flash
- dozens of commercial bitmap pixel fonts for flash, intended to be legible at small sizes. a few free and trial versions are available.
