The Side Archway

This archway was a bit of a challenge to build, and came after the little garden under it. The arch pieces are cut out of 2x10's on a ban saw, and then screwed onto the long 2x10x16's that run the length of the archway. As I said, I've had trouble getting vines to grow in this area. One trumpet vine is finally coming along, but you can see the shade it has to deal with. I've also had a climbing rose fail here. The soil is extremely dry.
